$400 for 10 Guests
Birthday parties
Skates, a private decorated room, pizza, cake and a lesson on the ice, all in one package at the Ice Bowl on Holt Blvd.
What does the party package include?
A party here comes with a private decorated room and a party coach, plus admission and skate rental for the guests. The coach is part of the package, so you are not the one running the schedule while you also try to keep a room full of kids from reaching the cake before the pizza. Everything in this list is already in the price.
The food is covered: 2 large pizzas, drinks (Capri Suns), a Personalized Birthday Cake (serves 30), and paper goods. Goodie bags are part of the package, and so is a 20-minute on-ice lesson. That lesson is the piece many parents do not expect, and it is what turns a crowd of first-timers into a group that can stand up and glide together.

How does the price add up?
The base price is $400 for 10 Guests. The Birthday Child is Free, and every additional guest is $14. Extras are priced on their own line: goody bags are $3.00 each and extra pizza is $12.00 each. Those are the only numbers to hold on to, which makes a guest list easy to price on the back of an envelope.
Count the skaters before you count the grown-ups. Ten guests is the base, and every guest past ten adds $14, so a bigger invite list moves the total in clean steps. Decide early whether the cake that serves 30 will also cover parents and grandparents, and call to confirm the headcount for your date.
Planning the day for first-time skaters
Call 909-986-0793 to book your date. Session times at the rink change, so confirm the day and hour by phone or by text to 909-935-9023 rather than guessing from an old flyer. When you book, mention how many guests have never worn skates; it tells you how much of the day will be holding the boards.
Ask every guest to bring gloves and thick socks. Thin socks bunch up inside a rental skate, and cold hands make a first fall feel worse than it is. In 20 minutes a beginner can learn to stand, march in place and get up after a fall, which is most of what makes the rest of the party fun.
