Reading the class board
Every class is 30 minutes, once a week, and skate rental is included the day of your class. Classes start at the beginning of each month and students may sign up at any time. The board has five slots: Monday 5:30 PM, Tuesday 6:30 PM, Thursday 6:00 PM, Thursday 6:30 PM and Saturday 12:45 PM.
Monday 5:30 PM is Tots and Pre-Alpha. Tuesday 6:30 PM is Pre-Alpha and Hockey 1. Thursday 6:00 PM is Tots and Hockey Tots, and Thursday 6:30 PM is Pre-Alpha, Adult and Hockey 1. Saturday 12:45 PM is Tots and Pre-Alpha. Thursday runs two slots back to back, so a Tot at 6:00 PM and an older sibling at 6:30 PM can share one evening.
New students pay $70.00 for the first month and continuing students pay $60.00. Times change, so call 909-986-0793 or text 909-935-9023 to confirm a slot before you drive over.

Figure skating or hockey: two paths off the same ice
Pre-Alpha is the class listed for ages 6 to 16, and it runs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Hockey 1 runs on two of those nights, Tuesday at 6:30 PM and Thursday at 6:30 PM, and Hockey Tots has its own Thursday slot at 6:00 PM. A skater who wants sticks and pucks and a skater who wants edges and spins can learn on the same ice, in the same week.
Hockey 1 matters beyond the class itself: the rink’s in-house scrimmage league asks players to have completed Hockey One first. Figure skaters have a place to aim, too. The rink lists the Ontario Hot Blades as its recreational figure skating team, and it also lists a Synchronized Precision Team.
Those two teams are not part of the class board, and this page does not quote tryouts, levels, coaches, ages or fees for them. The rink sets those details, so call 909-986-0793 and ask the front desk how to get on either team.
Grown-ups on the ice too
The board is not only for children. Thursday at 6:30 PM lists an Adult class in the same slot as Pre-Alpha and Hockey 1, so an adult who has always watched from the boards has a place to start. Adults learning to skate meet the same first problems a six-year-old does: ankles that fold inward, a stiff back and a fear of the fall.
The fixes are the same as well. Lace the skate snug through the instep, keep the knees bent, hold your hands out in front where you can see them, and practice getting up before you practice going. Adult pick-up hockey is arranged by text at 909-935-9023, and the grown-up scrimmage runs by appointment.
