Holt Blvd, dusk

The arched roof with the maroon lettering

Look for a long arched roof with “Ontario Ice Skating Center” painted across the front in maroon letters, with the lot out front. That barrel-vault shape is the original Ice Bowl, built in 1957, and you can read the story on the about page.

Dress for a cold room

Ice rinks stay cold even when the lot outside is warm. Bring gloves, wear layers you can peel off once you are moving, and put on thick socks before you lace up a skate. Rental skates are part of the $16.00 admission, and skating with your own pair is $14.00, all listed with the current hours and admission.
